How We Began

Our Story

Redemption Church began as a Bible study in the living room of a home in Fortuna, CA. It started with a small group of people who shared a common desire—to know Jesus more deeply and to create a space where others could encounter Him in a real and life-changing way. Gathered in a humble setting, they opened Scripture together, prayed for one another, and built genuine relationships rooted in faith. There was no stage, no spotlight—just a hunger for God and a willingness to follow where He led.

What began as a small Bible study quickly became something more. As word spread and lives began to be impacted, more people were drawn in—not by programs or production, but by authenticity, community, and the message of hope. It became clear that God was doing something special, something worth building.

From the very start, the mission has remained clear: to connect people to Jesus, who offers redemption for all. Redemption was not just a message preached, but a reality lived out in the lives of those who gathered.

Though the journey was just beginning, there was a strong sense of purpose. Each gathering, each conversation, and each prayer laid another brick in what would become a growing and faithful church community. What started as a desire to be rooted in God’s word and know truth, coupled with vision from our Leaders, has now birthed Redemption Church.

Redemption Church held it’s first official home Church service on 01/04/2026. in just a short three months, the Lord would provide a permanent location where we gather to worship.

Today, Redemption Church stands as a reminder that something small, when placed in God’s hands, can grow into something that impacts lives for generations. And this is only the beginning. The story of Redemption Church is still being written—one life, one family, and one transformed heart at a time.
